The Lubrication & Reliability Virtual Summit for 2022 will be taking place from 21st – 23rd September, 2022!
This year, there are over 80 global speakers from various countries covering a very diverse range of topics. They have partnered with One Tree Planted and for every paid attendee, one tree will be planted in a region of the attendee’s choice. This will help reforestation efforts around the globe.
This year, the Keynote Speaker is Dr Juan Flores Preciado from SpaceX. He will be talking about Space and Harsh Environment Lubrication. Lubricating space mechanisms is a challenge. Space mechanisms must withstand testing conditions in terrestrial environments, transportation and operation under harsh space environments (vacuum and radiation) and without any maintenance possible. This presentation will focus on describing the space and terrestrial environment and current and future lubrication schemes.
Energy Superheroes
The Energy Superheroes will also be joining LRVS22. Erin Twamley, author & educator, STEM Superheroes LLC will moderate a panel discussion on, Reliably Inspiring the Energy Future. Joining her on this panel are four women in energy:
- Jennifer Hill – Senior Operator, OGE Energy Corp – Muskogee Power Plant
- Kathy Hannun – Co-founder & President, Dandelion
- Gulnaaz Afzal – Quality Engineer, Rivian Automotive
- Lana Norton – Executive Director and Founder, Women of Powerline Technicians
There is also a dedicated Energy Superhero Ticket. This supports the children’s book written to inspire more kids into the Energy sector, Everyday Superheroes: Women in Energy Careers. For every ticket bought, the attendee will receive one book and one book will be donated to a non-profit organization. Sponsors who would like to support this initiative can also donate a case of books (40 books) to a non-profit.
LRVS Hubs
LRVS22 will also be hybrid this year! They have launched LRVS Hubs across the globe in different countries. Sponsors are opening up their doors and letting attendees into their facilities for either of the three days. Recertification credits
Are you a current holder of an ICNL or STLE certification? Be sure to attend LRVS22 and can gain re-certification credits towards ICML or STLE certifications. The team will supply you with certificates of attendance as well as the Agenda which are needed for the recertification credits.
