This paper was published at the Lubrication Management and Technology LUBMAT Symposium in Preston UK in 2006 and is entitled, "Linear Sweep Voltammetry (RULER) - An Innovative Approach for Looking Forward to Lubricant Oxidation." Part I of this paper examines the role of antioxidants in preventing fluid degradation. Part II of this paper presents different applications where RULER analysis can be applied.
