America we see a general trend with the new generation of (long-life, high temperature turbine oils) to start using RULER method, replacing the RPVOT test methods. As a field test, it is not only faster to perform, but it will also enable users to perform a trend of individual antioxidant consumption during the lifetime of the power generation lubricants.
