Description:

This was the first article that POWER magazine published about lube oil varnish. It was published in their O&M section and was called "Detecting and Solving Lube Oil Varnish Problems". The concept of a "holistic approach" is introduced. There are also some nice graphics depicting the challenges of eradicating varnish in a GT's IGV and other critical valves.
